Lunch Break

Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy - Class 1-C

*School Bell*
Haruka: (It's lunch time already? I should double check what we're doing for practice after school tomorrow.)
Classmate A: Huh? What's this penguin eraser doing on the floor?
Classmate B: Hey, that looks like one of the new Phenny products they just released. It's so cute.
Haruka: Oh, that's mine. I must have dropped it.
Haruka: Thanks for picking it up.
Classmate A: Oh, uh. Sure...!
Haruka: Hm?
Classmate A: Wow, I just talked to Haruka Kiritani! Idols really do have an aura, don't they?!
Classmate B: Lucky... I want to talk to her too.
Haruka: ...
Haruka: (I've been back at school for a while now, but I guess I still don't quite fit it.)
Haruka: (I wish I could talk to others like everyone else...)
Saki: Haruka, are you busy right now?
Ichika: We were wondering if you'd like to have lunch with us.
Haruka: Tenma, Hoshino...
Haruka: (I guess some girls are fine talking to me, so maybe I shouldn't worry about this too much.)
Ichika: Oh, are you working on a practice schedule? It's okay if you're busy...
Haruka: No, I can join you. I was just double-checking, so let's go have lunch.
Saki: Great! Let's go, let's go!
Saki: Ichi, did you buy yakisoba buns again? You really love those things, don't you?
Haruka: I think you ate the same thing the first time we had lunch together.
Ichika: Yeah... They're just so good.
Haruka: Hehe. I guess it is pretty hard to get bored of something you really like.
Saki: Oh hey, the Sports Festival is coming up pretty soon. Have you two decided which events you're gonna be in?
Ichika: Not yet. But I'd like to do something that doesn't involve any running...
Haruka: The Sports Festival...
Haruka: (I became so busy after becoming an idol that I rarely had time to go to classes.)
Haruka: (But now, I have time to participate in school events. This is wonderful...)
Haruka: (I wonder which events Minori and the others are doing. I'll ask them tomorrow during practice.)
Saki: What about you, Haruka? Any idea which events you want to be in?
Haruka: No, I'm not sure either.
Haruka: To be honest, work kept me away from school for so long that I'm not even sure what events there are to choose from.
Haruka: I think the last time I participated in a school event was back when I was in fifth grade...
Haruka: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ruin the mood.
Saki: No, you didn't! I found something we have in common!
Saki: I was in the hospital during most of middle school, so it's been a long time since I got to be in an event like this too.
Haruka: Oh, that's right. I forgot you were out of school too.
Saki: Yep! But I was even able to join a sports team, so it's all good now!
Saki: I've never been able to participate in a Sports Festival before, so I'm really excited! I just can't decide which events I want to be in.
Saki: We'll probably end up having to do rock-paper-scissors or a raffle to choose who gets to be in the really popular events! I can't wait!
Haruka: I'm looking forward to it as well.
Ichika: Saki, aren't you part of the planning committee for the Sports Festival?
Saki: Yep! We have our first meeting after school today.
Saki: But there aren't very many people on the committee this year, apparently. I'm a little disappointed.
Haruka: Really? That's kind of surprising. It sounds fun, so I figured there would be quite a few people interested in joining.
Ichika: A lot of students here are fairly dedicated when it comes to their studies or club activities. I think that may be part of the reason why so few of them get excited about school events.
Ichika: Our school has the credit-based course too, so there are a lot of students doing things outside of school as well, like you used to.
Haruka: I suppose that's true...
Saki: I'm the only one in my class who's on the committee. I wish someone else to join me too though...
Saki: I tried asking around, but everyone turned me down. Even Ichi is busy as a class representative...
Saki: If only there were someone else I could ask...
Saki: Oh, I know! Haruka, why don't you join me?!
Haruka: What? Me?
Ichika: Saki, Kiritani just formed a new idol group. I doubt she has time for anything like that.
Haruka: Well, I have some time. But I'm not sure I'll be in attendance every time the committee meets though.
Saki: That's totally fine!
Saki: Even though it's a planning committee, I heard that there isn't a lot of work involved.
Saki: All we really have to do is go to a few meetings, act as referees and help set up some stuff for the event.
Saki: It shouldn't be too much for you, Haruka. I'd love to have you help us out!
Haruka: Well...
Haruka: (I've never done anything like this before. Maybe it'll be a good opportunity.)
Haruka: In that case, let me ask the other girls in my group to make sure they're okay with me doing this. Can you give me a few minutes?
Saki: Of course!
Haruka: (Well, I sent them a message.... But I wonder if they'll be okay with it.)
*Notification*
Haruka: (Oh, someone replied. It's from... Airi?)
Airi: <The planning committee for the Sports Festival? That sounds fun!>
Airi: <You sound worried about it affecting practice, but you'll only be doing work up through the Sports Festival, right?>
Airi: <This isn't something you'll be able to do once we get back to being real idols! So you should enjoy stuff like this while you can!>
*Notification*
Haruka: Oh, it looks like Minori and Shizuku said it's okay too.
Haruka: (Thanks, everyone...)
Haruka: Tenma, I can help out with the planning committee.
Saki: You mean it?!
Haruka: Yes. Everyone in the group said that they're okay with it.
Saki: Awesome! Thanks, Haruka!
Ichika: That's great, Saki. Thanks, Kiritani. We know you're busy so...
Saki: We're meeting after school today for the first time, so let's go together! You'll get to meet everyone on the team!
Haruka: Okay, got it.
Emu: I'm so excited...! Wonderhoy!!
Emu: The Sports Festival is coming! I'm so excited, I feel like I can make a song for it right now!!
Emu: Sports Festival, it's been a while〜♪ Let's all run with a really big smile~♪
Student A: Wh-What's with her...? Why is she singing to herself?
Student B: That's Otori from 1-B. She's always like that.
Student A: Oh, really? She's really strange...
Emu: Which events should I join, I dunno~♪ Cavalry, relays, what a show~♪
Emu: Hehehe! I can't wait...!
Emu: It's gonna be so much fun after school!

Sports Festival Planning Committee - First Meeting

Committee Member A: It sounds like we're in agreement. We'll stick to the same events as usual from previous years.
Committee Member B: As for setting up the day of, that will be the same way as well. Duties will be divided up between committee members and...
Haruka: (This is very different from what I expected.)
Haruka: (I always imagined Sports Festivals as everyone working together to come up with fun ideas.)
Haruka: (But nobody is really voicing any opinions. They all seem somewhat dispassionate.)
Haruka: (I guess Hoshino did mention that not many of the students here get particularly excited about school events, so this is probably normal.)
Saki: Haruka, I'm sorry...
Saki: You were nice enough to join the committee with me, but this probably isn't what you were expecting, huh?
Haruka: It's okay, Tenma. This is a prep school after all, so everyone is probably focused more on their studies than school events.
Committee Member A: Alright, that should do it for today's initial meeting.
Emu: Not so fast!!
Committee Member B: Huh?
Saki: Hm? What's going on?
Haruka: I believe that's Emu Otori from 1-B.
Emu: I want to organize a more exciting sports festival!
Committee Member A: Wh-What do you mean...?
Emu: All you've been saying this whole time is stuff from previous years...
Emu: I really don't think that's gonna make for an interesting event!
Emu: I'm guessing there are a lot of girls here who aren't very athletic and don't even like the Sports Festival...
Emu: But I wanna come up with something that even they remember as being super fun and stuff!
Emu: A Sports Festival where everyone smiles, or in other words...!
Emu: I want this Sports Festival to be the best show anyone's ever seen!!
Committee Member A: Sh-Show...?
Saki: She reminds me a lot of my brother.
Emu: And the more fun everyone has during the event, the more energized they'll be for school after that!
Haruka: Oh...
Minori: I'm here to give everyone hope for a better tomorrow!
Haruka: ...
Emu: So I think we should all come up with some fun events, decorate the place together and...
Emu: Let's all brainstorm ways to make this Sports Festival super fun!
Committee Member A: Yeah, but the committee this year is so small. Even if we do come up with new ideas, there's no telling if we'll even have enough time to get ready.
Committee Member B: That's right. We also have to keep in mind that we have exams coming up right after too...
Committee Member A: We're all taking time away from our studies to do this. Asking everyone to invest even more time might be going a little too far.
Emu: But... But...! If we all work together, I'm sure we'll find a way...
Committee Member A: I appreciate your suggestions, Emu, but I just don't think it's very feasible.
Emu: But... I...
Haruka: ...
Haruka: I agree with Otori. I'm for her idea.
Saki: What?! Haruka?!
Committee Member A: You're...
Haruka: I'm Haruka Kiritani. I understand your concerns. However...
Haruka: This is an event where everyone at school is supposed to participate, so I think we should make it enjoyable for as many people as possible.
Committee Member A: That still doesn't change the fact that we just don't have the manpower to handle a bunch of new events.
Haruka: In that case, how about we revive some of the older events instead?
Haruka: There's a guidebook in the library that details everything about this school's past Sports Festivals. I went through it earlier today and saw a few that might be fun.
Haruka: Since they were held in the past, all the necessary equipment should still be here and setup shouldn't be a problem.
Haruka: The current format also splits each event up by grade, but what if we had all grades competing together?
Committee Members: Wouldn't that be a little difficult?
Committee Members: Yeah, that sounds like a lot of extra work...
Haruka: If students can choose when to practice ahead of time, we can have all grades practice together and it shouldn't take too much time out of their schedules.
Haruka: These changes should be manageable even with a small committee like this or not a lot of time to practice to go around.
Emu: Wooow...! Those are awesome ideas!
Saki: Yeah, that sounds fun!
Committee Member A: We might actually be able to pull off something like this...
Haruka: Thank you.
Committee Member B: But we'll have to decide which events to bring back and come up with a practice schedule for all of the students...
Haruka: That won't be a problem. Otori and I made these suggestions, so we will come up with a few proposals before the next meeting.
Haruka: Does that work for you?
Emu: Yup! I'm the one who started it, so of course I'll see it through to the end!
Saki: I'll help out as well! I want to make this a fun Sports Festival for everyone too.
Emu: Thanks!!
Saki: Let's make this a Sports Festival that everyone will remember!
Emu: Yeah! Wonderhoy☆
Haruka: Wonderhoy...?
Saki: Hahaha! That's so adorable! You're just too much, Emu!
Haruka: Hehe. I agree. She may be a little strange, but...
Emu: Oh, hey! Since we're making changes, why not make the opening ceremony a big show too?!
Emu: We could have clouds of smoke everywhere for a giant robot to fly out of, and have it zoom around the track and stuff!
Haruka: Okay... Make that very strange...

A few days later

Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy - Campus

Emu: Welcome to the gymnasium's storeroom!
Haruka: I just hope we can find everything we need for each event.
Haruka: I didn't realize there was a separate storeroom on campus for the gym. I thought the one inside there was the only one.
Emu: Oh, this is your first time out here then, Haruka?
Haruka: Yes. Did you know about this storeroom?
Emu: Yep! I found it when I went exploring after the entrance ceremony!
Emu: I tried to get inside but it was locked, so I had to climb up and look through the window.
Haruka: Wait, the window...? You don't mean the one on the roof, do you?
Emu: Yeah! But I got into trouble after one of the teachers saw me up there...
Emu: So this is the first time I've actually been inside!
Haruka: I see...
Haruka: (She says that so nonchalantly but that window is about as high as a two-story house.)
*Door Opening*
Emu: Hey, it's open! Haruka, let's go inside!
Haruka: Sure. It's dark, so please watch your step...
Emu: Nooo waaay!!!!
Haruka: Wh-What happened?!
Emu: Look, Haruka! Bamboo poles! This means we can do the bamboo tug-of-war event!
Haruka: Is that all? You scared me there...
Haruka: I don't think I've ever seen anyone get so excited over bamboo poles before.
Emu: Hm? What do you think this is?
Haruka: They might be old class flags. It looks like someone spent a lot of time on them too.
Emu: You're right! They've got some really cool designs!
Emu: It'd be fun to use in some sort of show! We could hoist them during the climax and...
Haruka: A show?
Haruka: You mentioned a show during the meeting too. Do you enjoy seeing shows and performances?
Emu: Huh? Oh, I forgot to tell you...
Emu: I'm a cast member for the Show Stage at Phoenix Wonderland!
Emu: We work hard every day to put smiles on the faces of everyone who comes to visit♪
Haruka: Smiles on everyone's faces...? That's a wonderful goal.
Emu: Yup! We're always trying to come up with super fun shows! You should come see one sometime, Haruka!
Haruka: Hehe, I imagine any show with you in it would be fun. I'll have to make time to visit.
Emu: Really?! Awesome!!
Emu: Oh wait! We're here to find things for the Sports Festival! Let's keep looking, Haruka!
Haruka: Sure. I hope we're able to find what we need for the more interesting events.
A few days later

Saki: Um, excuse me! I made a sample announcement flyer for Sports Festival. Could you take a look?
Committee Member A: Let's see... Breaking away from last year's program, this year's Sports Festival will feature events that all students can enjoy together.
Committee Member A: Have you come up with a list of which events you'd like us to do?
Committee Member A: We'll need to make lists for which students will be competing in each event as well.
Saki: Um, well...
Emu: Here ya go! A list of events hot off the press!
Saki: E-Emu?!
Emu: Hehehe! Haruka and I dug through the storeroom the other day and found all sorts of stuff we can to use♪
Emu: We're looking over old guidebooks to arrange an event schedule too!
Committee Member A: Arrange...?
Emu: Yep! We want to make sure there are events that even the busier students can participate in without needing to practice much!
Emu: I'm actually on my way to meet her and work on it right now.
Committee Member A: What? But it'll be dark soon. Isn't it a bit late today?
Saki: I thought I noticed Haruka staying late the past few days. Is that because you two have been working on the event schedule?
Emu: Yup!
Committee Member A: I didn't realize...
Emu: Hehehe! We're gonna bring you a list of events to the next meeting that'll definitely put smiles on everyone's faces! See you then♪
*Hurried Footsteps*
Committee Member A: ...
Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy - Classroom

Haruka: Phew... That's the last of them.
Emu: Great! These all look super fun☆
Haruka: (We managed to finish the event schedule, but now we need to come up with participant lists.)
Haruka: (We need one for each event that combines all the grade levels too. This might get a little complicated...)
Haruka: (But we suggested it, so we have to take responsibility and get it done somehow...)
Emu: This event's definitely gonna make all the less athletic girls every grade smile! Don't you think so, Haruka?!
Haruka: Hehe. Yeah, I think so too. Let's keep at it.
The next day

Saki: Here, Haruka! This is a list of participants.
Haruka: Huh...? Did you put this together, Tenma?
Haruka: For every event... This must have been a lot of work.
Saki: Oh, I didn't do this all by myself. The other committee members helped too!
Haruka: Wait, really? I thought they were all too busy...
Saki: I think seeing you and Emu work so hard motivated them to help out a little more.
Saki: They all even said that they want to see everyone enjoying the Sports Festival too!
Haruka: Oh...!
Saki: I have a feeling this year's Sports Festival is gonna be a really good one!
Haruka: I see. That's wonderful.
Emu: Haruka, look! The balls for the ball toss turned out super cute♪
Saki: Wow! Pink and blue ones too! They really are cute!
Emu: Hehehe! This'll make things even more fun♪
Haruka: Hehe.
Emu: Oh, I completely forgot...! I have practice for the three-legged race today!
Saki: We're supposed to be teaming up with girls from the higher grades this year, right?
Haruka: Yes. I thought it'd be nice for younger students to mingle with the older ones since they usually don't get the chance to...
Emu: Gotta go! See you later!
Haruka: Okay. Good luck at practice.

Honami: Oh, Emu, you and Ms. Asahina are partners for the three-legged race. Good luck!

Honami: (Emu must be one of them too.)
Honami: Congratulations on getting such a great partner, Emu. I'll be cheering for you two!

Miku: Hey, KAITO... It's been a while since Emu last visited, hasn't it?
KAITO: Oh, that reminds me. Tsukasa and the others mentioned that Emu has been busy preparing for a Sports Festival.
Miku: What, really?! Does that mean I won't be able to see her for a while?!
Miku: No fair! No fair! I want to see Emu!
KAITO: Don't worry. I'm sure she'll come visit as soon as things calm down after her Sports Festival.
KAITO: Besides, we have our own show to prepare for, Miku. I'll see you at rehearsal.

Haruka: (Here we go...!)
Haruka: (I hope her pledge comes true and everyone has a good time.)
Emu: Haruka!
Haruka: Otori, you did a great job with the pledge. It was very you.
Emu: You think so? Hehehe. Thanks♪
Emu: Let's go have a lot of fun today!

Haruka: The ball toss is next. Are the baskets ready?
1st Year Committee Member A: Yeah. We're going to set them up as soon as everyone clears the field.

MC: <Second years, please exit the field. Next, we have the first-year ball toss event.>
Haruka: Sounds like they're finished. Let's go.
*Hurried Footsteps*
Minori: Wow! Look how colorful these balls are! They're so cute! This one even has a little drawing of a hamster!
Kohane: This one has a bunny. The ones from practice were just the normal ones, so did they do this just for the event? This must have been a lot of work.
Shiho: ...
Minori: Huh? Is something wrong, Shiho?
Shiho: I can't throw these...
Kohane: What?
Shiho: They're too cute! I can't throw them...!
Minori: What?!
Kohane: But we won't win if you don't...
Student A: Hey, did you see the second years' bamboo pole tug-of-war?
Student B: Yeah, I did! Wasn't Momoi amazing?! She jumped right into the thick of it and stole like five poles!
Student A: Hinomori did really well too! She never ran but gave off some kind of aura that made everyone avoid taking anything from her so she wouldn't get hurt...
Emu: Hehehe! It looks like everyone's enjoying themselves♪
Emu: Time for me to get ready for the three-legged race...!
???: <Heya, Emu!>

Miku: <A special spot? Yeah, let's go!>
Emu: Alright! Come with me!

Miku: <Yaaay!!>
Emu: Woohoo! We did it! I hope Miku saw that!
Mafuyu: Good work, Otori. I couldn't have won this without you, so thank you.
Emu: (Huh? That smile just now felt...)
Mafuyu's Friend A: Mafuyu! That was so cool! Our peerless athletic superstar!
Mafuyu's Friend B: We knew you would win!
Mafuyu: Haha... You're exaggerating again.
Emu: (I knew it! I knew it wasn't real!!)

Haruka: Don't forget about the special scoring system for the bamboo pole tug-of-war.
1st Year Committee Member: Okay, got it!
Emu: Haruka! I can't find the bread anywhere!
Haruka: You mean for the bread obstacle course? I was told they put them in the refrigerator in the teacher's office.
Emu: Oh, thank goodness! Thanks! I'll go get them!
*Hurried Footsteps*
Haruka: Phew... Looks like things are finally starting to settle down.
Haruka: (And it's just the big relay race left to wrap things up. We might just finish today without any incidents.)
Classmate: Ow...
Saki: Hey, are you all right? Your leg, it's really swollen. We should get you to the nurse's office!
Classmate: But I'm supposed to be in the relay...
Haruka: What happened?
Ichika: Oh, Kiritani! Well...
Haruka: You got hurt during the last race? It looks pretty swollen. You really should have the nurse look at it.
Classmate: But I still need to do the relay. If I don't, I'll just be letting everyone down...
Haruka: I'm sorry, but I think it would be best to go see the nurse. You don't want to make it any worse.
Classmate: But...!
Haruka: Don't worry. I'll run in your place.
Ichika: Oh, that's right. You're the substitute, aren't you?
Haruka: Yes. I'll go let the referees know about the change. Tenma, will you make sure she gets to the nurse's office?
Saki: Of course!
Classmate: I'm so sorry... I know how busy you are...
Haruka: It's not a problem. I'll make sure to do my best.
Saki: We'll be cheering you on, Haruka!
Haruka: Thanks. I don't plan on losing.
Haruka: (I informed them about the switch, so everything should be set. I should practice transferring the baton pass a little more...)
Emu: Haruka!
Emu: I just heard! You're going to be in the relay?
Haruka: Yeah. One of the other girls hurt her leg. I'm registered as the substitute, so I'm taking her place...
Emu: What?! Is she okay? I hope she wasn't crying?
Haruka: She's fine. A couple of the other girls took her to the nurse's office. I think she just twisted her ankle a little.
Emu: Phew, that's a relief...
Emu: So that means you're passing the baton to me then!
Haruka: Oh, I forgot that you're the runner right after me. That's quite the coincidence.
Haruka: To be honest, I'm a little worried about being able to pass you the baton. I haven't done a relay since elementary school.
Emu: Don't worry, Haruka!
Emu: We've been on the planning committee together this whole time, right?
Emu: Think about all the hard work we did! We're the best pair around here!
Emu: So I'm sure our baton pass will be perfect!
Haruka: Otori...
Emu: We still have a little time left before the relay, so let's practice some!
Emu: We have to win and make sure the girl who got hurt will smile too!
Haruka: Yes, you're right... Let's win this!
Announcer: And now for today's final event, the big relay.
*Cheering*
Miku: <Oh, it's starting! Time to cheer Emu on again!>
Mafuyu's Friend: Mafuyu, you're the anchor in the relay, right?! Good luck!
Mafuyu: Thanks. I'll do my best.
Saki: Haruka, you got this!!
Ichika: Good luck, Kiritani!
Haruka: (Time to win...!)
Committee Member A: On your marks... Get set...
*Starting Pistol*
*Running*
*Cheering*
Announcer: And they're off!
Announcer: The third-year team have taken an early lead, followed by the second years and then the first years.
Haruka: (The first years are a little behind, but we can still win if we maintain this pace...)
Haruka: (We're already closing the gap between us and the third years. We can do this...!)
Announcer: It looks like the second-year team is looking to move up!
Announcer: And they've taken the lead! Now, we have the third years in second with the first years right on their heels! This is going to be a nail biter, folks!
Haruka: (This might not be as easy as I thought...)
Haruka: (I need to gain as much ground on them as possible!)
Relay Member: Kiritani, here...!
Haruka: Leave it to me!
*Running*
Announcer: The first years' baton is now in the hands of Haruka Kiritani from 1-C!
Haruka: (I need to close that gap and get the baton to Emu as fast as possible!)
Announcer: Kiritani in lane 1 is on fire! She's passed the third years and is in a dead heat with the second years!
Saki: Wow! Go, Haruka! You're doing awesome!
Ichika: You can do it, Kiritani!
Haruka: (Everyone is cheering me on! I can't let them down!)
*Running*

Emu: Haruka!
Haruka: It's all you, Emu!
Emu: Yup!
Emu: It's time to win!!
*Running*
Announcer: Kiritani brought the first years back into a fight for first place! She passes her baton to Otori just as the second years pass theirs!
Announcer: It's all up to the anchors now! Who will be victorious?!
*Running*
Ichika: She's so fast! She might be faster than everyone on the track and field team...
Honami: But Emu's right there with her!
*Running*
Announcer: Emu Otori and Mafuyu Asahina are neck and neck! It's still anybody's race!
Mafuyu: Otori...!
Miku: <Emu! Emu! C'mon, you can do it!>
Miku: <Go! Go! All the way to the finish line!!>
Emu: There's no way I'm losing!
Mafuyu: ...!

Saki: Haruka!
Saki: We finished putting everything away on that side of the field!
Haruka: Good work. This side is all set too. All that's left is to lock up the storerooms.
Saki: Today was so much fun. I still feel like I can keep running!
Ichika: Just make sure not to overdo it, Saki.
Saki: Oh, I know! I've gotten better at knowing when to quit!
Saki: Hey, Haruka. Do you have any plans after this?
Saki: We were talking about having a party to celebrate. If you're not busy, would you like to come?
Saki: We'll just be going to the diner down the street, but anyone who can join us is invited.
Haruka: You don't mind if I join...?
Saki: Of course you can come! You were named the MVP of 1-C after all!
Haruka: The MVP?
Ichika: You didn't just decide that yourself right now, did you?
Saki: Hehehe. Busted.
Haruka: Thanks, you two. I don't have any plans, so I'd love to go.
Saki: Great! I wonder what I should get...
Ichika: We'll head back to the classroom and wait for you there.
Haruka: Okay.
*Footsteps*
Haruka: ...
Haruka: (That's right. I guess today is over...)
Emu: Haruka, we finished cleaning up our part!
Haruka: Okay. The only thing left for the planning committee to do is to finish locking up.
Haruka: ...
Emu: Is something wrong, Haruka?
Haruka: It's kind of sad...
Emu: What is?
Haruka: I really enjoyed today, but...
Haruka: I'm sad that it's over.
Emu: Me too!
Emu: I wish we could put on a Sports Festival tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that... Everyday!
Emu: It is sad... Why can't we have fun all the time?
Haruka: You think so too?
Emu: Yeah. But my grandpa taught me something...
Emu: He said that fun is the thing that lets us look forward to tomorrow!
Haruka: To look forward to tomorrow...
Emu: Our fun for today is over...
Emu: But I'll just have to do another show tomorrow and put those smiles back on everyone's faces!
Haruka: Oh...
Haruka: Hehe.
Haruka: You remind me a lot of someone.
Emu: Huh?
Haruka: Oh, it's nothing.
Haruka: I guess I can't stay sad myself either.

Haruka: Emu, our stages may be different, but let's both continue doing what we can.
Emu: Yeah! Let's do our best tomorrow too!!

Haruka: (I have to meet with Airi and the others so we can start making our schedule and...)
Classmate: Um, Kiritani? Do you have a minute?
Haruka: Oh, sure. What is it?
Classmate: I wanted to give you this to say thank you for running in my place the other day.
Haruka: Wait... Is this a limited edition Phenny keychain?!
Classmate: Yeah. I noticed you had a Phenny eraser, so I thought you might like it.
Haruka: Thank you! I was too busy with work when this was on sale, so I wasn't able to get one!
Classmate: I'm glad you like it.
Haruka: Thank you so much. I'll take good care of it.
Classmate: Um... I was also wondering...
Classmate: Would you like to hang out after school some time?
