25-ji, Nightcord de., often abbreviated as 25-ji, N25, and Niigo (ニーゴ), is an underground music circle that makes songs online at 25:00, (1 AM).

Background[]
The circle was created by K in hopes of making music that "saves people" and gives them hope. She recruits the members Enanan, Amia, and Yuki, communicating through a chat tool called "Nightcord." All members were unaware of each other's real names or appearances (excluding Ena, who uploads selfies of herself to the internet, only to be seen by Mizuki) until Chapter 6 of the group's Main Story.
One day, Kanade loses contact with one of her circle members. They find a song file named "Untitled" that is shared with each of them, and upon playing it, they are transported to the Empty SEKAI.
In the event Someday, From the Depths of Despair, it is shown how Kanade and Mafuyu first met, and how their group was originally formed. One day, Mafuyu gets a song recommended from her classmates. She decides to give it a listen and send her classmates a simple "It's true, it really is a good song.", only to find another song in the recommendation column that piqued her interest. She gives it a listen, assuming that she will feel nothing, but the song has an effect on her. The next day, Mafuyu asks her old music teacher on what she should do once a song shakes her feelings like that and why, she is told that she could make an imitation. Once Mafuyu gets home, she gets the synthesizer her father bought for her and makes an arrangement of one of Kanade's songs that made her feel something. After she's done, Mafuyu wants to send it to her, but is unable to without a name. While trying to think of one, she sees that it is snowing outside, and is inspired to make her alias "Yuki". Once sent, Kanade notices it almost immediately, taking notes of how sad it sounds. Later she contacts Mafuyu and invites her to talk and make music with her on Nightcord. Mafuyu accepts, and both talk to each other for the first time. The next day, both Kanade and Mafuyu are ready to make a song together at 1AM, a time Mafuyu's parents are already asleep, so she doesn't need to worry about them interrupting her. After they finish and upload their first song together, they hope that the other will help them in one way or another.
After Mafuyu and Kanade decided to make songs with vocals, it is shown in the And Now, I Wear This Ribbon event how Mizuki and Ena joined the group. Ena makes an illustration for one of Kanade and Mafuyu's songs. Mizuki finds Ena's art online and decides to make an MV with it. Before uploading it, however, Mizuki asks for Ena's consent to use her art, to which Ena says yes. Kanade then contacts Mizuki, asking them to create another MV for a song that she is working on. Mizuki asks for proof if Kanade is the real composer, and Kanade sends Mizuki a demo of one of her previous songs. Mizuki then accepts, and Kanade invites them to talk on Nightcord at 1AM. Mizuki talks to Kanade, Mafuyu, and Ena for the first time. Kanade asks Mizuki and Ena to make an MV based on what they felt from Kanade and Mafuyu's song. Mizuki and Ena finish the MV and let Kanade and Mafuyu watch it, to which they both say is very good. Kanade then tells Mizuki and Ena that she wants to keep working together. Ena accepts while Mizuki thinks about it for a while, but ends up accepting, and so all four members finally fully form 25-ji, Nightcord de.
In 25-ji, Nightcord de.'s original background setting and the members' introductions, it is mentioned that Kanade approached and recruited all of the members one at a time. Mafuyu joined the group after Kanade found one of her older songs and invited her to work together. After that, Kanade found Ena's art account and came across her illustrations which were based on Kanade's songs, leading to Kanade reaching out to her. A bit later, Mizuki made a video based on one of Kanade's songs and also recorded vocals for it, which culminated in Mizuki joining the group as well.
SEKAI[]
Mafuyu's SEKAI, the Empty SEKAI, is a dead world containing hardly anything in it. There are a few dim rays of light, broken stage equipment, fallen stage truss, and pyramids that are cold to the touch. These pyramids are said to be Mafuyu's feelings.[1] It is possible to get lost in this SEKAI due to its vastness, as well as how similar the place looks. At a specific location, it reverberates sound differently.[2] It is unsure if this applies to other locations of the SEKAI.
The SEKAI starts to alter due to Mafuyu's shifting emotions.
The first stage area in the SEKAI is revealed in the main story. This area contains all of the items mentioned for the basic SEKAI, but also includes a heightened platform and floating TV screens in triangular and rectangular shapes. The area is used in the 3DMV for Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai, Jishou Mushoku, Charles, Hitorinbo Envy, Kagirinaku Haiiro E, IDSMILE, Bitter Choco Decoration, Saisei, and Non-Breath Oblige.
The second stage area is discovered by Miku and the members of the unit in the "On this Blank Canvas, I Paint" After Live. The area includes a heightened platform, many large cement pillars, multiple floating platforms, and floating cubes with four split parts on each face. It is possible that these cubes are what the Nightcord at 25:00 logo is based off of, but it is not confirmed. This area is used in the 3DMV for Villain, Aishite Aishite Aishite, Nomad, Meru, and Kimi no yoruwo kure.
The third stage is discovered by KAITO and the members of the unit in the "immiscible discord" After Live. The area is a small rectangular room covered with stairs leading to nowhere similarly to the Winchester house, a dark passageway in the back and rectangular holes in the floor. This area is used in the 3DMV for Samsa and Totemo Suteki na Rokugatsu Deshita.
In Searching for a Reflection Beneath the Waters, a new piece of the SEKAI is discovered, where the background is the same as the original area, but now there is a lake with stage truss, pillars and prisms inside it and rectangular prisms decorate the floor. It is unknown how far the lake goes on for. Around the edge of the lake is an arch and a platform, where a single sprout grows, and floating paving stones that lead to a door, which cannot be opened.

Trivia[]
- The only 25-ji, Nightcord de. member who regularly attends school during the day is Mafuyu. While the other members are enrolled in school, Kanade takes her classes online, Ena takes night classes, and Mizuki often skips class.
- The chatting tool 25-ji Nightcord de. use, Nightcord, may be a reference to Discord as they have similar romanizations (ディスコード and ナイトコード respectively).
- Additionally, the layout of Nightcord very closely resembles both the mobile and desktop layouts of Discord. This can be seen in various in-game cards[3] as well as in 25-ji Nightcord de.'s Journey to Bloom animation.
- Wonderlands x Showtime and 25-ji, Nightcord de. are the only two units in which a single person (Tsukasa and Mafuyu) is responsible for the creation of their respective SEKAI. Thus, their SEKAI is filled with things related to them, though it seems that if the owner of the SEKAI allows other people to access their SEKAI, those people can also influence it as well.
- 25-ji, Nightcord de is the only unit to have two commissioned songs (Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai and Keitai Renwa) at release date. This is due to, as mentioned by mafumafu in a TwitCasting livestream, after he had finished making Keitai Renwa, Colorful Palette told him it didn't fit the group's sorrowful image.[4]
- The members have surnames that reference different times of day: Yoisaki ("宵", night), Akiyama ("暁", the moment right before sunrise), Shinonome ("東雲", dawn), and Asahina ("朝", morning).[5]
