Side Story 1


Vivid Street
An: Nice work today! We'll see you two tomorrow!!
Akito: Yeah, see you tomorrow.
An: Kohane, let's head back together for part of the way!
Kohane: Okay!


An: I still sorta can't believe we're putting on our own event.


KAITO: Since we're going to be putting on an event, why don't all of you also try putting one together?
Len: Yeah! I bet it'll turn out great since you have Kohane and the guys now. Plus, you've all been practicing a ton together!
An: I was so surprised when we went from Len and the others doing an event to them saying, "Why don't you try putting one together as well?"
Kohane: Hehe. I was just as surprised. Everything happened so fast.
Kohane: But I'd like to do my best if we're actually going through with this.
An: Yeah, same! Let's make it an event to remember!
An: Oh, also, Kohane... Remember what Akito said?
Kohane: Huh? Um... Are you talking about RAD WEEKEND's atmosphere?
An: Yeah, that!



An: The heart-pounding sensation I felt that time... It's really hard for me to describe, but it really was an incredible atmosphere...
An: Akito mentioned this too, but I'm sure we'll get closer to surpassing RAD WEEKEND if we can produce the same sort of vibe.
Kohane: I remember you mentioning that before, An.
Kohane: As the night went on, the crowd kept getting more and more pumped as each team battled to be the best.
Kohane: They wanted to sing more and everyone wanted to hear more like they couldn't get enough. As a result, it reached a status that no one thought was possible...
Kohane: That's what RAD WEEKEND was all about, right?
An: You remembered my story?!
Kohane: Of course I did, An. The way your eyes sparkled as you told it made me want to learn more about what it was like.
Kohane: And I'm really glad that I got to see a video of RAD WEEKEND itself.
An: Me too. It reminded me just how amazing that night was and how there's so much that you can't put into words.
An: But if we're seriously gonna surpass it, we might wanna stop putting it on such a high pedestal.
An: Let's keep doing our best to figure out how to produce that atmosphere and see what we can do during our event!
Kohane: Yeah, you're right!
An: Also, I'm really surprised that Akito decided to go along with KAITO's idea...
Kohane: Wait, you are?
An: Well, I dunno... I was half expecting him to say that it's too soon for us to put on our own event or something.
An: I mean, despite how he looks, Akito's actually pretty mature and is pretty deliberate about most stuff, right?
Kohane: Hehe. He is always looking out for us during practice and events.
An: Exactly! I really don't know if this is good or bad, but he seemed to think that it was worth a shot...
An: And on top of all that, I'm staggered by how surprised I was when KAITO suggested that we do our own event.
An: I thought I was mentally ready to pounce on it and be all, "Yeah, let's do it!"
Kohane: So a part of you regrets not doing that?
An: A part of me? No, pretty much all of me!
An: Which is why I wanna knock the socks off Akito and the others by singing some really amazing songs during the event. Then, we'll be square again...
Kohane: Hehe. Sounds like a heated battle between the four of us is about to unfold.
An: Okay!
An: (Trying to outdo your own teammates also probably played a role in creating that atmosphere.)


An: (And we're gonna do everything we can to recreate the heart-pounding sensation I felt that night.)
An: (Because now I have...)
An: (The best team and best partner ever!)
Kohane: An...? Is something the matter?
An: Nope, nothing!
An: Alright, starting tomorrow, we're really gonna kick some butt!

Side Story 2


Kamiyama Street
An: Whew! The event Len and the others did was so much fun!
Kohane: Hehe. We even got to jump in partway through.
Toya: Yes. At the same time, I was impressed by how they started everything off with a powerful song and never let that energy fade.
Akito: Yeah. Not only that, we got to see KAITO actually DJ for the first time in a while.


Rin: ♪————!!
Len: ♪————!!
Luka: MEIKO, let's go! We're next!
MEIKO: Okay!
Luka & MEIKO: ♪——! ♪————!!
An: Whoa! A duet with Luka and MEIKO!
Kohane: Oh wow...! This is so cool!
Miku: Hehe. We're just getting started. KAITO...!
KAITO: Okay!
Miku & KAITO: ♪——! ♪——~~~!!
An: That was so awesome. Aren't events just the best?!
An: Guys, when do you think we should do our next one?
Akito: Slow down. We haven't even done the debrief for our first one yet.
An: But that's all a part of making our next one better, right? What's wrong with getting a little head start?
Toya: I see your point... On top of this being the first event we've ever put on, we achieved some good results.
Toya: It may be good for us to keep accrue as much experience as we can while we still have this feeling fresh in our minds.
Akito: Yeah, we're definitely gonna need more experience moving forward.
Akito: Plus, we're gonna need to see what kind of atmosphere we can produce and how much we can get the crowd going next time...
Akito: There's still a lot of stuff that we still need to test out.
Kohane: Hehe. Sounds like you're also pretty excited about our next event, Shinonome.
An: Yeah! Talk about getting ahead of yourself!
Akito: Says the one who initially brought it up.
An: Hehe... It really is great to have teammates like you guys.
Kohane: Huh?
Akito: You're saying this now?
An: Because it's important to me.
An: Vivid Street went pretty wild after RAD WEEKEND happened. For a good while too.
An: You couldn't take three steps without seeing musicians try to flex their muscles and out-sing everyone else...
An: You probably know what I'm talking about, Akito. Remember what it was like back then?
Akito: Yeah.
Akito: But things like COL closing down and Ken announcing his retirement sort of put a damper on all that...
An: Yeah. Even though everyone was saying, "I'm gonna do that next," right after that event.
An: As RAD WEEKEND became more and more legendary, the number of people trying to surpass it just kept shrinking.
An: Which is why I'm really glad that I found teammates who are actually serious about surpassing it.
Kohane: An...
An: And it's not just anymore. We have Arata, Kotaro and everyone from EVER now!
An: I've gotta think it's pretty rare to see so many people chasing after the same exact dream like this.
Toya: Yes, we're blessed to have such good friends.
An: Right?! That's why we should do our next event soon!
Akito: How exactly did you arrive on that? You're talking about two completely different things.
An: What?! You said it yourself, Akito. There's still a lot of stuff we need to test out, right?!
Kohane: Hehe.
Toya: In any case, we'll need to do the debrief for this event first.
An: Right! I'll send everyone from EVER and the others a message to see when would be best!
Akito: Look, we need to sit down and have a long discussion, so make it a Saturday or Sunday, okay?
An: Okay, got it. I'll start by asking which days work for everyone.
An: Oh, you guys need to tell me when you're free too! I'll plan and adjust around that!
Kohane: Okay!
