Anzai Chika (安済 知佳) is a voice actress from Fukui Prefecture, Japan. She is Elena's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with avex pictures.
Background[]
When Chika was in kindergarten, she wanted to become a pharmacist, mostly because she liked what the word sounds like. In third grade, she joined Fukui City's local choir, where she learnt about acting, and in fifth grade, she learnt about voice acting through Yamaguchi Kappei's roles as Inuyasha and Usopp from One Piece, which inspired her to become a voice actress as well. In middle school, at the age of 15, she applied for and managed to join the Avex Artist Academy, and in the process moved to Tokyo because of the tremendous cost of transportation from having to constantly travel between Fukui and Tokyo.[1]
She made her debut as a voice actress in 2009 by voicing Mikogami Nagisa in the anime Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu. In 2023, she made her debut as an actress in the short film "Doubutsuen no Futari".
Chika was one of the three winners of the Best Lead Actor Award at the 17th Seiyuu Awards.
On August 1, 2020, Chika announced her marriage to a man outside the industry.[2]
