The April Fools Event 2023 is a 24-hour event held on April 1, 2023 in celebration of April Fools' Day. The event was later released to international servers on April 1st, 2024.

Story[]

" A mysterious school called Mikudemy suddenly appeared in Shibuya and everyone's now a student there?! And so begins our wonderful year(?!) together with Principal Mikudayo...♪ Please enjoy the slightly different Project SEKAI today. "

The April Fools 2023 story replaces Miyamasuzaka and Kamiyama High School with the MIKUdemy map area, a music school where all the units and VIRTUAL SINGERS are students. The principal of MIKUdemy is "Dayo-sensei" (Principal Mikudayo), Mikudayo with a bushy mustache and grey suit. Other than Empty SEKAI Miku, the Mikus act as staff members.

At the end of the event, which takes place over an in-game year, Dayo-sensei and the Mikus reveal the students were brought to MIKUdemy to find "something special". Since they all fulfilled the attribute of the class they were assigned, everyone was able to graduate from MIKUdemy.

The only areas that trigger area conversations are the MIKUdemy Field, MIKUdemy Classroom, and Scramble Crossing. Like the 2022 April Fools event, Robo-Nene and Mikudayo (as Dayo-sensei) fly over the overworld map.

The students of the Solid Heart Class are practical and stoic. Dayo-sensei describes them as having "an incredible confidence gained through diligent self-improvement."

Cautious Heart Class[]

The students of the Cautious Heart Class are perceptive and dependable. Dayo-sensei describes them as having "a firm will to keep moving forward no matter what."
