- ↑ 化けの皮 is an expression meaning "concealing one's true character" or even "a wolf in sheep's clothing". Here, 皮, or "skin" is replaced by 花, "flower". So "disguised in flowers" is another way to interpret the meaning of 化けの花.
- ↑ 化けの花 can also be translated as "Monstrous Flower", as 化け(る) refers to becoming a monster, such as 化け猫, which is a cat (猫, neko) that turns into a youkai (妖怪, monster). This interpretation may be a reason that the flowers in the 2DMV have eyes, due to being monstrous.
