Imaruoka Atsushi (伊丸岡 篤) is a voice actor and former pro boxer from Isesaki, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. He is Otori Shousuke's voice actor. He is currently affiliated with Mausu Promotion.
Background[]
Atsushi was born in Isesaki and currently lives in Tokyo. Prior to becoming a voice actor, Atsushi was a professional boxer who was affiliated with Kyoei Boxing Gym. He had practiced amateur boxing ever since high school, and after graduation, he aspired to become an actor. He started going to a nearby boxing gym frequently as he thought that having a good physique would help him with acting, and then debuted as a professional boxer in 2004. He eventually quit boxing in 2007.
Atsushi entered Mausu Promotion's voice actor training school in 2001, and then debuted with the role of Hasegawa in Okojo-san. He then became affiliated with his agency two years later in 2003.
