Matsui Eriko (松井 恵理子) is a voice actress and singer from Nakamura, Nagoya, Japan. She is Akiyama Yuuki's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with IAM Agency.

Background[]

Eriko currently lives in Tokyo. She was born in Owari, and spent most of her childhood in Gamagoori, but due to her parents' job, she often moved around, and has also lived in Osaka, Hamamatsu, and Nagoya.[1]

Thanks to her father and older brother's influence, she started watching anime when she was young. In third grade, Eriko learnt about voice actors through the anime Marmalade Boy, and she especially liked the character Matsuura Yuu's voice. After her mother told her about voice actors, Eriko realized that she also wants to become a voice actress. In her second year of high school, she moved to Tokyo and after graduating, started attending a vocational school.[2]

She debuted as a voice actress by voicing Prairie Dog and Rabbit in the anime Gon. She debuted as a singer in 2017 with the album "Nijiyoubi".

Personality & Hobbies[]

Eriko's hobbies include watching TV, taking walks, singing, and playing games and mahjong. Her special skills include drawing and playing the trumpet, and she was also part of the brass band in middle school.

Eriko loves Japanese sweets, particularly kurikinton. Some of her other favorite foods are white rice and somen. Her least favorite foods are things with a strong smell such as spring onions, coriander and yuzu citrus. Despite this she can eat natto, as she finds the stickiness delicious and it helps her ignore the strong smell.[2]
