Meeting On An Errand

Side Story 1

Weekend Garage
Regular: That was delicious, An. See you!
An's Voice: Thank you! Take care!
An: Okay. I've flipped the closed sign, so now I need to tidy up and help get us ready to open the bar.
An: (I have plenty of time before practice with the team, but I'll be too busy to squeeze in solo practice before that...)
An: (But I still need to practice more...)
An: ...
An: (I've gotta sing...)
An: (That's all I can do!)
An's Voice: Dad! I need a favor!

Passerby A: Hey, look! An's out here singing again!
Passerby B: And just as well as ever! She's got far more soul than the usual lot around here.
Passerby A: Of course she does! Just look at that insane event her team pulled off at Crawl Green.
Passerby B: You're right there! There's no one closer than An and her team to surpassing that legendary night!
An: ♪————!! ————!!
An: (It's not enough! It needs more passion!)

Passerby A: Nice work, An! You were really singing like you meant it just now.
An: Thank you. But...
An: What am I supposed to do if you're satisfied with that? I need to keep pushing forward to surpass RAD WEEKEND!
Passerby B: That's the spirit! You and your team might actually pull it off!
An: Hehe. Well, I need to go meet them for practice now.
Passerby A: Got it. Good luck!
An: (We might actually pull it off, huh?)
An: (I feel like something's changed in this town.)
An: (Not long ago, when we told people we were going to surpass that night...they did give us their support, but it never felt like they genuinely meant it...)
An: (I guess everyone looks at us differently now that we're hosting our own events.)
An: (Everyone's optimistic for us, but I'm not...making any progress...)
An: (I really do need to practice more.)
An: (I already asked Dad to shorten my hours at Weekend Garage. So, starting from tomorrow...)
???: An!
An: Oh...
Kohane: An, you're on the way to the park, right? Wanna go together?
An: Yeah, of course!
Kohane: Hehehe, it's a good thing I bumped into you. There's actually something I wanted to ask you about.
An: Ask me about?
Kohane: Yeah. The thing is...

An: So, Hinomori is coming to Weekend Garage this Saturday to pick up the flyers for her solo show?
Kohane: Yeah... Sorry for using your place like that.
An: Don't even worry about it! My dad won't care either.
An: Do you think Hinomori will have time to stop for a drink? I'd like to treat her to a tea or something as thanks for her help at the School Festival.
Kohane: Hehe. That would be nice.
An: (It's strange...)
An: (Before, I was burning with that feeling that I had to keep singing...)
An: (But now, walking beside Kohane, I feel warm...)
An: (This is where I want to be.)
An: (I want to stay here. Now and forever.)
An: (That's right. I'm Kohane's...)
An: (I have to do it...!)
An: (For now, all I can do is sing. Sing and sing as much as I can...)
An: (Just wait, Kohane...)

Akito: Alright. That should be enough for today.
An: Agreed! Nice work, everyone!
Toya: Yes, good work.
Toya: What do you plan to do after this? I'll be going to MEIKO's cafe...
Akito: I'll join you then. We've been practicing so much that I haven't dropped by in a while.
Kohane: In that case, I'll come as well! What about you, An?
An: I...
An: Sorry, there's something I have to do after this.
