Nene: Yeah. All we did was write up some activity reports. More importantly, he...

Keisuke: Allow me to explain once more. Phoenix Wonderland would like you to become its ambassadors and travel outside of the park to promote it.
Tsukasa: Yes, and you can both rest easy because your park is in good hands! We promise not to disappoint!
Rui: But there is one question I'd like to ask before we proceed. Promoting the park does seem necessary, but why make us ambassadors?
Rui: Initially, we were going to use social media as a promotional platform, but now you wish to have us travel outside of the park to promote it. Why is that?
Keisuke: Ah, that's because we've changed our target demographic.
Nene: You have...?
Shosuke: Fortunately, your little stunt helped attract the younger generation of guests we were after.
Shosuke: Which is why we've decided to set our sights on those living in other parts of the country.
Shosuke: This park is at the heart of Shibuya, so it is able to attract many guests from within the city. However, we rarely ever see guests traveling great distances to visit.
Keisuke: Compared with other parks, our IP share is on the low side. As a result, we don't have a reliable way of attracting guests from other parts of the country.
Keisuke: Partnering with Riley Entertainment remedies some of these issues, but we've decided not to rely so much on existing IPs.
Rui: I see... And you wish to make us the faces of the park because of the success we found through social media.
Keisuke: Indeed. Rumors of how you're all high school students have even begun spreading, which has only added to your fame.
Keisuke: Today, we'd like to relay the details of yesterday's meeting, as well as where your first stop will be.
Tsukasa: Fantastic! So the first stop on my road to stardom has already been decided!
Emu: Yay!! And?! Where do we get to go?!
Keisuke: Yes, your first destination will be Phoenix Ocean Resort.
Nene: What?! Phoenix Ocean Resort?! The five-star hotel...?!
Rui: I see. Phoenix Hotel & Resort being an Otori Group subsidiary would make things quite a bit easier for us as well.
Nene: Wh-Why do you know all that, Rui?
Rui: Hehe. I decided to look up what I could about the Otori Group while I was coming up with ideas for our last show.
Tsukasa: A five-star resort would be the perfect stage for a star such as myself!
Nene: But I feel like people who go to fancy resorts aren't really the same as the people who like going to amusement parks...
Keisuke: That shouldn't be an issue. We're interested in not the hotel-goers but those coming to visit the beach.
Tsukasa: Huh? What do you mean?
Keisuke: Phoenix Ocean Resort has an open-air Beach Stage that already attracts a lot of visitors due to it being a sort of public amphitheater.
Keisuke: We would like you to put on a show that is not only family friendly, like the ones you are already doing, but also appeals to a wider audience.
Tsukasa: I see. I can't wait to see the Beach Stage...!
Rui: I came across some information regarding this stage. Apparently, it's literally built where the sea meets the sand.
Rui: Hehehe... We should be able to include some effects that we normally don't get to...
Emu: Yeah! A show by the sea! Yay!! Cannonball!!
Shosuke: Hey, will all of you settle down a little? Try not to forget that you're ambassadors for this park.
Tsukasa: We know! We promise to give you the best show possible!
Keisuke: You're scheduled to perform for three days. One performance in the morning and one in the evening each day for a total of six times.
Keisuke: Next, regarding what facilities will be available to you...
Nene: ...
Nene: (I can't believe we're staying at the hotel and performing there for three days...)
Nene: (I thought they were just gonna have us appear as guests for small events or local festivals and stuff.)
Nene: (Can we really help promote the park...? Doing shows outside of the park is probably gonna feel really different compared to normal...)
Rui: Hm? Is something bothering you, Nene? You seem concerned...
Nene: N-No, it's nothing...
Rui: I'm not sure what's on your mind, but I'm certain that it's nothing you need to be afraid of...
Rui: We've already succeeded in putting on a show that hundreds of guests got to see and helped change the course of Phoenix Wonderland's future.
Rui: Traveling about to perform shows should feel like nothing at all to you at this point, no?
Nene: ...!
Nene: Yeah, I guess you're right...
Nene: (We managed to pull off something that crazy, so we should be fine even if we're somewhere that's completely new to us.)
Keisuke: Again, your audience will include both children and adults, so in terms of what to perform, we'd like you to do something light and cheerful.
Keisuke: As long as you meet those prerequisites, the rest will be up to you.
Shosuke: But no funny business, got it? We can't have you pulling another one of your stunts...
Rui: Funny business...? I believe that depends on your definition of the word funny...
Shosuke: You're already planning something, aren't you...?
Tsukasa: No matter. It is settled! We will perform a light and cheerful show that visitors of all ages can enjoy while promoting Phoenix Wonderland!
Tsukasa: And we'll show everyone just how great Wonderlands×Showtime is at the same time!
Emu: Yeah! We promise to make everything super fun and bring back as many guests as we can!
Keisuke: Good. We'll be counting on you, Emu...
Tsukasa: So why don't we get started by coming up with some show ideas? Any thoughts?
Emu: Oh, I know! We get to go to the beach this time, so why don't we do a show about us being fish on an undersea adventure?!
Tsukasa: The sea, huh? What about pirates? We could bury some treasure on the beach and dig it up during our performance!
Rui: Yes, everything we need for a pirate show does seem to be in place.
Rui: Is there anything you'd like to do, Nene?
Nene: The sea... Well...
Nene: It's a tad old-fashioned, but the Little Mermaid might be nice...
Tsukasa: The Little Mermaid? That's also a good idea.

Nene: Yeah. I saw a rendition of it when I was little, and I can still remember how amazing the lead actress was at singing... I doubt I'll ever forget it...

Little Mermaid: Diving into an unknown world is terrifying, but not being able to because of my own fears would be much worse!

Nene: Hearing the Little Mermaid sing made me want to start doing plays and stuff.
Rui: Hehe. I remember how you were always reciting her lines, Nene. It's very nostalgic.
Rui: But you really surprised me when you started conversing with guppies in the river as part of reenacting that scene where she speaks with the fish.
Nene: Y-You don't need to talk about that...!
Tsukasa: Hah hah hah! What a wonderful story! Such childlike wonder!
Emu: Yeah, I totally get it! Everybody wanted to talk to fishies and animals when they were little!
Nene: ...
Nene: A-Anyway, that show's what led me to acting.
Nene: After that, I even went to see some other shows starring that actress.
Tsukasa: Really? Do you happen to remember her name?
Nene: Yeah, her name's Yuka Kazamatsuri. She usually does musicals most of the time, but I might've seen her on TV first.
Tsukasa: Oh, I think I've heard of her! She's in a theatre company overseas, right...?
Nene: Yeah. She lives in the United States now and has been performing in shows all around the world.
Nene: Unfortunately, you don't get to see her in Japan much anymore...
Nene: But she's scheduled to come back this year, so I'm really looking forward to seeing her again.
Rui: Yes, that's very exciting news. Hold on... Isn't she supposed to perform at a venue near the Otori resort?
Nene: Oh, you're right.
Emu: What?! Does that mean we can all go see Nene's hero together?!
Tsukasa: Yes, that's a great idea! I'm sure it'll be okay as long as it doesn't interfere with our work as ambassadorial duties.

Emu: But you know what, Nene, I feel like we should choose the Little Mermaid after hearing your story!

Tsukasa: I'm with her as well. It's the perfect show for a stage by the sea!
Rui: I agree. We even have access to a romantic beach that can serve as the stage for when the Little Mermaid meets her man.
Emu: Then the Little Mermaid it is! Wait, oh no!
Tsukasa: Wh-What is it?
Emu: In the fairytale version, isn't the Little Mermaid supposed to pass away in the end...?
Tsukasa: True... That means it's technically a tragedy, which would be the opposite of what we should be performing as ambassadors...
Nene: Yeah, I guess you're right...
Rui: Then, why don't we simply pay homage to the Little Mermaid...?
Tsukasa: Pay homage to her?
Rui: Yes. We can think of a new story that's based on the Little Mermaid we all know and love.
Rui: Since it's so famous, we should be able to make adjustments to it rather easily while still being accessible to any children that may be in the audience.
Nene: Oh, I see...
Tsukasa: Yes, that sounds fantastic! Even those that come and join partway through should be able to understand what's going on.
Emu: Yeah! Let's do it!
Rui: Hehe. I appreciate your enthusiasm. So, Nene, how about it?
Nene: I didn't say that we absolutely have to do the Little Mermaid or anything...
Nene: But... Thanks... I'd like it if we did that too.
Tsukasa: Then it's settled! For our first shows as ambassadors, we'll be paying homage to the Little Mermaid!

Tsukasa: The script's done! It has to be one of Rui's best works yet! It even includes quite a few of your guys' suggestions!

Nene: Hehe. It's so different from what I'm used to and might even have a little too much going on...
Nene: But I think this is just the kind of show we were looking for.

Luka: I think so too. Especially since mermaids can just glide so gracefully through the water. It must be such a wonderful sensation.

Nene: The first two days are supposed to be the busiest, but we might be able to squeeze in from free time while we're cleaning up on the night of the third day.

Emu: Yup! It was all pretty and sparkly and super duper fun!
Emu: But it's more sparkly and exciting when I'm with you guys because I know it's gonna be a super wonderhoy carnival...!
Nene: Hehe. You're exaggerating...
Rui: Ah, that must be the stage. Excellent, it looks just like the illustration.
Rui: Shall we start unpacking our props and equipment? We're going live just after our morning rehearsal, so we'll need to work quickly.

Tourist: Okay then... Wanna check it out while we take a break? We can just leave if it ends up being boring or something.
Tourist: Sure. Let's go see!
Merprince: Ah, another beautiful day... The waves are calm and there's even a nice breeze.
Merprince: As the prince of the merfolk, I could not be happier to see my land in such a harmonious state. However...

Little Mermaid: All I gathered from this is that no matter how hard we try, humans will never accept us into their world.
Little Mermaid: It even mentions how terrible things happen to merfolk that get caught by the human fishermen...
Littler Mermaid: But that's just what the story says... It might actually be really fun up there!
Littler Mermaid: Look! This mermaid got to go to a dance party and eat lots of yummy food!
Merprince: Yeah! There could be a mountain of fun to be had, and we just don't know it yet!
Little Mermaid: B-But... Even if we did go on land, we won't be able to walk like the humans since we don't really have feet...
Merprince: Ah, I heard some rumors that one of the merfolk lives far off in the strait and makes these strange potions. Why don't we ask him for some help?
Little Mermaid: Seriously? There's no way someone living way out there by themselves isn't shady...
Merprince: Just play along for one, will you? Otherwise, you'd be locked in here playing video games all day, right?
Littler Mermaid: C'mon, let's go♪
Little Mermaid: W-Wait..! Why aren't you listening to me?!
Tourist: Haha! This is pretty good!

Meroctopus: Ah, welcome! It's been decades since anyone's come to visit me!
Meroctopus: I hear that you seek a potion that will give you human legs. Here, drink this♪
Merprince: *Gulp*... *Gulp*...! It's not as bad as I imagined.
Littler Mermaid: Whoa, look! My tail's glowing!

Merprince: What the...?! We've grown legs, but they're covered in scales!

Merprince: Finally, we made it to a human settlement!
Littler Mermaid: This is what they call a 'city'? There's so many big buildings!
Little Mermaid: Hey, don't forget that we have to keep drinking these potions every hour to keep our legs, so be careful.
Merprince: Yes, we know!
Merprince: Hm? What's this? Is it edible? It's shaped like a fish, but has some kind of black substance inside...
Littler Mermaid: Nom... It's so yummy☆ It's so warm and sweet! I've never had anything like this before!
Little Mermaid: Have you two forgotten that it's not safe out here...?
Little Mermaid: But they seem to be enjoying themselves, so maybe it was worth the trip...
Little Mermaid: Oh, these games look fun too. I didn't even know the humans have this many games in their city...

Little Mermaid: I still have that weird potion! The one for when we get into really big trouble...!
Little Mermaid: This is terrifying... But I have to save them before something awful happens to them!

Mech Mermaid: No, I don't have time for that right now... I have to figure out a way to save them...!
Mech Mermaid: Okay!! Let's go!!
Audience: Whoa! Where'd this gust come from?! Was it that giant fan over there?
Children: Look! It's like Mech Mermaid's really flying!
Mech Mermaid: Hang on, you guys...!!
Tsukasa: Thank you for coming to see our show today!
Tsukasa: We'll be eagerly awaiting your arrival at Phoenix Wonderland, so please make sure to come and visit sometime!
Nene: N-Night tickets are also available!
Rui: Our nighttime spectacles are full of wonderful illuminations, so please don't miss out.
Emu: Come have some with us at Phoenix Wonderland, okay?
Tourist: That park does shows like this? That's pretty cool.
Tourist: I used to go there all the time when I was a kid, but it might be nice to go now since it's been a while.
Nene: ...!
Nene: (Thank goodness...! Our show actually made them want to visit Phoenix Wonderland...!)

Rui: I'm glad we decided to shorten the show and add in some effects that involve air and water.

Yuka: From start to finish, each scene was full of excitement, but... My favorite part had to be when you sang for us, Nene.
Yuka: The way you sang really sent me back in time to when I was much younger.
Nene: When you were younger?
Yuka: Yes... I was exposed to theatre for the very first time in high school and never felt the sort of exhilaration that shows can give you until then.
Yuka: I moved to Tokyo right after I graduated to pursue a career in acting...
Yuka: But it took me a very long time to make that decision. I was so scared of diving into a world that was completely unknown to me.
Yuka: But as scared as I was... I took the leap, and you reminded me of how I was able to muster up the courage to do so, Nene.
Nene: H-Hehe...
Nene: But I didn't expect to hear the word scared come out of your mouth...
Nene: You're a globetrotting celebrity, so I was under the impression that you were fearless.

Yuka: But it felt so great when I did learn to do it.
