Hoshino Ichika: Childhood friends and bandmates. While their relationship was initially strained due to Honami pushing Ichika away out of fear that her other classmates would bully Ichika, they have since made up. Honami appreciates Ichika for always looking out for her.
Tenma Saki: Childhood friends and bandmates. Honami was glad to see Saki back and healthy, but felt initially awkward due to the incident that splintered their friend group. Now the two are close friends who radiate positivity.
Hinomori Shiho: Childhood friends and bandmates. While Honami once pushed Shiho away due to fear of her being bullied by her other classmates, they have since made up. Shiho can occasionally voice somewhat harsh criticisms against Honami, but Honami realized that sometimes friends need to be harsh with another to make each other better people.
Hanasato Minori: Honami's schoolmate and friend. The two often walk their dogs together.
Kiritani Haruka: Friends and schoolmates.
Hinomori Shizuku: Shiho's older sister who was also part of the beautification committee with Honami.
Azusawa Kohane: Friends and classmates in Class 2-A. In the The BEST Summer Ever! event, they are assigned to the same group, and Honami also teaches Kohane how to swim.
Shinonome Akito: Friends following the Rise as ONE! event. In the event, she helps him overcome his fear of a dog named Max, as he trains Max for the disc dog competition.
Tenma Tsukasa: Saki's older brother. Though she sometimes gets surprised by his loud voice and mannerisms, Honami appreciates how much Tsukasa cares about Saki and even helped the two make up.[1] She still chastises Shiho for calling him a loud-mouth.[2]
Otori Emu: Good friends and former classmates as they both refer to each other by their first names. During the Don't Let Doubts Hold You Back, Emu supported Honami in mustering the courage to leading the class during a conflict.
Kusanagi Nene: Friends following the Musical Twilight Parade event.
Kamishiro Rui: Rui, Minori, and Honami all join together to help Akito get over his fear of dogs during the Rise as ONE! event. The two interact again during the Old Days Read-aloud event.
Yoisaki Kanade: Honami works part-time as Kanade's housekeeper, coming over to the latter's house once a week. In a flashback from Someday, From the Depths of Despair, Honami had helped Kanade after she noticed she had collapsed on the floor during her first time visiting her, and formally introduced herself after Kanade woke up in the hospital. The two have a friendly relationship, and Kanade occasionally asks her for advice.
Asahina Mafuyu: Although they both attend Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy, Honami and Mafuyu interact properly for the first time in The Warmth of Intersecting Melodies event. Ever since Farewell, My Mask, Honami has learned of Mafuyu's current state, as the latter currently resides in Kanade's house.
Shinonome Ena: Honami learns of and meets Ena through Kanade in the Paint What I Love ♪ Rainbow Canvas event, where she proceeds to ask Ena to teach her how to draw. Thanks to Ena's advice, Honami was able to improve, and afterwards the two became good friends.
Akiyama Mizuki: Friends since the To You, My Caring Companion event.
Hatsune Miku: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend.
Kagamine Rin: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend.
Kagamine Len: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend.
Megurine Luka: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend.
MEIKO: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend. It is implied that Honami's feelings brought MEIKO into the School SEKAI. During the Don't Let Doubts Hold You Back event, MEIKO helps Honami find her courage and ability to speak up, teaching her that there is more than one form of kindness.
KAITO: VIRTUAL SINGER and friend. During the Rise as ONE! event, it is revealed that KAITO had helped Honami look after Shibao one time, as she and her family was away from home. After that, the two would occasionally talk about Shibao.
