Akito & Toya: ♪————!
Kohane & An: ♪————!


Akito: Alright, this seems like a good place to take a break...
An: Okay. Great work, everyone!
Toya: We've already been singing for two hours.
Kohane: Oh, you're right. Time really flew by us there.
An: That means we were just that focused, right? You and Toya even seem more motivated than usual, Akito!
Akito: Yeah.



Akito: (Sitting down to talk with Tono and his partner was huge.)
Akito: (We have a much better understanding of each other now, and it's become clear that we're all after the same dream.)
Akito: (Well, to be fair, there are still some loose ends...)


Arata: What does it mean to "take a look at this city"?
Arata: That's what Taiga told me to do the other day.
Arata: "If you're serious about surpassing RAD WEEKEND...take a look at this city."
Akito: (Look at this city...? I've been thinking about it ever since but still don't have a clue.)
Akito: (Still, Tono seems a lot better, so right now, we gotta think about making our event a success.)
Akito: (The last time we all practiced together, we didn't do nearly as well as we'd hoped we would. So next time...)
Kohane: Shinonome...?
An: Everything okay? What's got you bothered?
Akito: Hm? Oh, my bad... I was just thinking about our next practice together.
Akito: Each team's having no problem giving a quality performance...
Akito: But we're still not synergizing. Remember how we all felt after our last full practice?
Toya: True...
Toya: At our current rate, we'll put on a "decent event", but hardly an "event that surpasses that night".
Akito: Exactly.
Akito: My guess is that every team's gonna have to push each other higher and higher if we really want to recreate the crazy atmosphere from that night...



Akito: I mean, RAD WEEKEND was nuts from start to finish, right?
An: Well, duh! Aunt Nagi even kicked it off with a solo performance! Of course it was nuts!
Akito: Yeah, she really just grabbed a hold of the crowd's hearts and made them go absolutely wild.
Toya: But the biggest surprise was how that energy never faded. It just grew and grew as the night went on.
Kohane: Yeah. It was like Shinonome said. Every team competed to be the best and pushed each other higher and higher.
Toya: I agree. As such, it makes sense to try and emulate that synergy, but...
Akito: That's not the whole story, right...?
An: Yeah... I hate to say it but are we just not good enough...?
Akito: We all know that we're nowhere near their level, so that's probably the wrong place to look.
Kohane: After a lot of discussion, we decided to keep the order of our performances the same too.
Akito: Yeah, I really think EVER needs to lead things off for us.
An: They've been performing for pretty long now and have way more stage experience than us.
Toya: Which is why we need them to immediately warm up the crowd with the first song.
Toya: At the same time, Mita's also been very impressive considering how he has to carry the baton from EVER to Tono.
An: Yeah, I thought so too! I sorta couldn't believe it during our rehearsal the other day.
Kohane: Me neither. Not only is he singing really well, but he's also great at interacting with the crowd as the MC.
Akito: Apparently, he's been thinking about how to give a performance that suits him while also acting as a bridge.
Toya: That makes sense. He was definitely doing his best to get everyone excited for the next act as the MC.
Akito: Seriously, when did he learn to do all this...?
Akito: And Tono... Well, I think this goes without saying...
Kohane: Yeah. We're just practicing, but he's performing like it's the real thing.
Akito: Right. It's like he was able to wrangle up the entire place the second he started singing.
Akito: From there on out, he just let his presence grow stronger and stronger.
An: Yeah, I bet the crowd would've been bouncing off the walls! But we're also supposed to go right after him and he's raising the bar sky high for us...
Akito: And that's exactly what we want.
An: Totally! We aren't gonna surpass that night unless we all push each other as hard as possible.
Kohane: Yeah!
Toya: We have to take whatever energy that's there, mix it with our own and change it into something even greater...
Toya: We may not have been able to find the synergy we were looking for this time, but I believe we're on the right track.
Akito: Yeah, same.
Akito: So, what we're missing is...


Akito: Pancakes...
An: Wait, huh? Are you hungry or something?
Akito: No. I was reminded of something KAITO said.
Kohane: Hehe. You aren't guaranteed to end up with delicious pancakes just because you gathered up some good ingredients, right?
Akito: Yeah. We aren't gelling as well as we want because we still don't have a good understanding of each other.
Toya: If that's the case, let's talk some more with Mita and the others. For example, we ask them about why they decided to start singing.
An: Hey, great idea! I wanna ask them that too!
Kohane: Yeah, me too!
Akito: Alright, let's bring it up during our next practice.

Side Story 2


Studio
Akito: Hey.
An: Oh, there you are!
Kotaro: Yeah, everyone's already here.
Toya: Well, except for a few members from EVER...
Tatsuya: Yeah, sorry about that. This live house we've been performing at asked some of us to help out, so it'll just be me for now.
Akito: Got it. In that case, we can start our debrief with who we have here.
Arata: Okay. Why don't we start by watching the video of our event?


Akito: I still can't believe how well EVER does right out of the gates... It's only the first song and everyone's this excited.
Arata: The audience must've enjoyed seeing some familiar faces as well. It likely served as a signal to them that they could dive right into the action.
Tatsuya: Yeah, we were hoping for something like that and it really let us cut loose from the start.


Kotaro: <♪————!!>


Kotaro: Wh-Whoa...! I really got the crowd going, huh?
An: Yeah, you did a great job of interacting with the crowd and bridging between acts too! It probably felt pretty good up there, right?
Kotaro: I was way too nervous to remember!
Akito: People usually aren't so honest...


Arata: <♪————!!>


Akito: ...
Akito: (I felt it that time too, and I know EVER and Mita helped warm up the crowd. But to get them this excited...)
Akito: (All on his own too...)


Akito: (No, he wasn't alone...)
Akito: (He's carrying Soma's thoughts too.)


Kohane & An: <♪————!!>
Akito & Toya: <♪————!!>
Akito: <♪————————!!>


An: Haha. I look like I'm having a blast! But I got so excited that I started speeding up my tempo.
Kohane: Me too... I might've been better to build the tension there more.
Tatsuya: No, the crowd was going that wild. It was right for you to ride that wave.
Arata: You two knew that and just let things play out, right, Akito, Toya?
Toya: Yes.
Akito: They probably would've gone even more nuts if we had them clap along, so I was looking for a place to work that in.
Kotaro: What? How were you able to think so calmly in that sort of electric atmosphere?
Akito: We were the headliners, right? It was our duty to take them from you and get them even more excited.
Kotaro: Whoa... That means I've gotta find a way to perform without breaking a sweat too.
Tatsuya: Well, that's just a matter of gaining experience.
An: Man, that was so much fun! I'm glad we got to rewatch everything and discuss it as a group!
Kohane: Me too!
Akito: Hey, don't forget that this is still a debrief...
Toya: Anyway, let's watch it again. This time, we can stop it at parts we think need more work and talk about it from there.
Akito: Sounds good.
Akito: This is to make our event even better. I'd like it if we could be frank about what happened.
Arata: Of course. I won't have it any other way.
Kotaro: Uh... I'm the type that grows through praise... So, please go easy on me...
Tatsuya: Oh, hear that?
Akito: Yeah, I can't wait to discuss Mita's performance.
Kotaro: Toya, help! They're starting to freak me out! Look at their eyes!
Toya: Really? From my point of view, they seem to be having fun...
Kotaro: That's why they're scaring me!
Arata: Actually, Kotaro, there were some things concerning your performance that I was hoping to discuss.
Kotaro: Why are you going along with this, Tono?!
Arata: Because that's how things are rolling?
Toya: I see... Is this what it means to synergize?
Kotaro: Dude, no!
Kohane & An: Hehe!
Akito: (From finding our partners to forming a team and performing in events, we've all been through a lot...)
Akito: (But it really feels like we've taken a big step towards making our dreams come true.)
Akito: (Alright, we've gotta take this first step and make it so our next one means just as much!)
