The following are a list of rules specific to the Project SEKAI Wiki, to be used alongside the general Fandom Community Guidelines. These rules are in place to keep the wiki and it's forums a welcoming and informative space for all Project SEKAI fans.
Summarized Rules
- Do not add leaks.
- Do not vandalize any page.
- Only upload images when necessary.
- Only create a page when relevant to the wiki.
- Do not translate irresponsibly.
- Post on the forum responsibly. Do not attack users, VAs, or characters for any reason.
- Do not backseat moderate (attempting to moderate when you are not a moderator).
- If you suspect someone is breaking a rule, contact an admin.
Leaks, Spam, and Vandalism
- Do not post/upload any leaked (unreleased) information, including images. This is strictly emphasized.
- Unreleased information from international servers (not including server-exclusive content) are allowed, as it is content already released in the Japanese version. This does not include international event, gacha, or song release dates, as well as official translation data.
- Do not spam by uploading unused or unnecessary images, spamming page updates (including user pages), or leaving spam comments.
- To prevent spam and vandalism, please do not edit other's user pages without express permission from that user. Regular housekeeping of user pages (fixing links and images) should be done by moderators.
- Vandalism (intentional adding of unnecessary or non-canonical information or removing) is strictly prohibited.
Image Rules
See the Image Guide for more info on correctly naming and uploading images.
- When uploading images, rename images to their intended file name.
- Do not upload duplicated versions of existing images. If you intend to use the image on your profile, find it in the existing files and link it to your profile.
- Do not upload unnecessary images that have no correlation to the wiki. (User profile images are acceptable.)
- User profile images will be deleted if they are not used on a profile. Excessive uploads of unrelated images that are not used on user pages will be considered spam. If an image used on your profile has been wrongly deleted, contact a staff member.
- Do not upload videos that are not from official YouTube channels.
- Event banners should be uploaded in 694 x 294 resolution if available. These can usually be found in the Game News section of the sekai.best homepage.
- Unofficial or fanmade content should only be uploaded with credit and express permission from the creator. Image found to be in violation of this will be deleted.
Page Rules
- New pages should be related to Project SEKAI and the content within them should not already exist on other pages.
- When creating a new page, reference existing pages for how it should be formatted.
- Do not create blank pages, always add information to the pages you are creating, even if it is incomplete.
- Do not create an unrelated page for fun. Please leave that to your user page or user blogs.
Translation Rules
- Do not machine translate any pages or images. If you cannot translate it yourself, fan translations can be found on @pjsekai_eng or the Project Sekai Update Page.
- Official translations are always favored over fan translations, including English lyrics.
- Fan translations must be added with express permission from and credit to the translator. Fan translations can and will be removed without prior notice when official data is released.
Forum Guidelines
These guidelines apply to forum posts, article comments, user pages, and any other community interaction. They are accessible at any point when browsing the wiki's forums. If you see someone posting content you believe may be harmful to themself or others, please use our Report Form to notify a moderator.
- Treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or attacks on users, characters, or people for any reason will not be tolerated.
- Do not bring up controversial topics or topics that will start discourse, intentionally or not. Our forums aim to be a place where everyone can feel safe and welcome. This includes shipping discourse.
- No NSFW content, including violent or suggestive images and posts.
- No venting. Our forums are not a suitable place for mental health help and we are not equipped to provide what you need. Please seek professional, qualified resources. If you are in an emergency and in imminent danger, please call a hotline or contact someone privately.
- No leaks. Please only share content that has been officially shared, whether in-game or announced on social media.
- Image rules apply to user pages, blogs, and forums. Do not upload unofficial art you do not have permission for to the wiki.
Consequences
A warning will be issued for intentional and/or repeated instances of rule-breaking. Posts or edits containing violent, explicit, or otherwise harmful content may result in a ban from the wiki.
If you see someone breaking rules, including vandalism and harmful posts, use our wiki's Report Form to notify a moderator. A list of administrators can be found on our Admin List.
