Miku: Welcome, Len.
Len: Is KAITO here? I wanted to practice being a DJ some more...
Miku: Oh, yeah. He's sitting towards the back.
Miku: But now might not be the best time...
KAITO: What if the song Ken and his team made sounds so good because of the suspense it builds?
Toya: Suspense...?
KAITO: Yes! This strange tension... It's like each note is clashing with each other and yet they still somehow manage to harmonize.
KAITO: This must be the result of Ken, Nagi and Taiga having vastly different personalities. It's them in the form of music.
Toya: I see...
Len: So, uhh... What are they doing?
Miku: Oh, right. You still haven't heard, have you, Len?
MEIKO: The thing is, Toya is in charge of composing the songs for...


Len: Really?! And KAITO's helping him?!
Miku: Yes. He's the most creative one out of all of us. Plus, he knows quite a lot about music, so he's probably the best person for this job.
Len: Yeah, I know what you mean! It's so easy to understand what he's saying when he's teaching me how to be a good DJ.
Len: Also, there's something different about him today...
Toya: I thought understanding what made Ken and his team's song so good would help me with mine...
Toya: But if it's the result of the three of them clashing with one another, then I might not be able to put that information to good use since I'm alone...
KAITO: No, but this is at least one thing we were been able to derive from their song!
KAITO: That is why it's much too soon to be giving up!
KAITO vbs: They sang many other ones during RAD WEEKEND, so we may be able to find some more answers by analyzing and breaking them down.
Toya: Right. Thank you for pointing that out...
KAITO: *Sigh* I'm feeling parched all of a sudden! Huh? My coffee's all gone?!
Toya: Oh, we've been talking for quite a while now. I also lost track of the time.
KAITO: Haha. Time really does fly! MEIKO, can I get a refill? My usual blend, plea—
Len: Uh oh...!
KAITO: Huh? Len, when did you get here?!
KAITO: Is something wrong? You look really anxious for some reason...

Miku: I don't think you need to hide it from them, Len...
MEIKO: He thought it was cool how you were working so hard to help Toya.

Toya: Ah, I see. That's what was going on.
Miku: To be fair, you seemed much more helpful than you usually are, KAITO.
KAITO: Haha. You finally understand what a cool person I can be, Len?! I couldn't be happier!

KAITO: Is that so?
KAITO: Well, in any case... Your super cool teacher will gladly take some time later to show you how to be a super cool DJ, Len!

MEIKO: An after-party?
KAITO: Yes! I thought we should start preparing to celebrate when Toya finishes writing all of his songs!
MEIKO: Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourself? He only just finished making his first one.
KAITO: No, there's nothing wrong with starting early! I mean, I want it to be a big celebration!
MEIKO: Yes, I do understand what you're saying...
KAITO: So, MEIKO! I have a little favor to ask of you...


Rin: Heya! Sorry for being late, KAITO!
KAITO: Oh, Rin, there you are! I've been waiting for you!
Rin: Oh, Rin, there you are! I've been waiting for you!
Rin: Wait, wow! These cookies! They're so cute!
Rin: How did you get the center to look like red flowers?
KAITO: Heh heh heh. Would you like to know?!
KAITO: First, you turn the cookie dough red by mixing in a little strawberry powder!
KAITO: Then, turn more dough into other colors that you need, roll them out into long sticks...
Rin: Oh, are you gonna stack them together?!
KAITO: Precisely! Once that's done, let it sit in the refrigerator for a little while, cut them into thin slices and throw them in the oven! That's how you get a whole pile of the same cookies when they're done!
Rin: That's so cool! No matter where you cut, you get the same cookie!
KAITO: To be fair, MEIKO showed me how to do all this.
MEIKO: They're called icebox cookies. It's fun to make them because of all the color and flavor combinations you can have.
MEIKO: Still...
MEIKO: Don't you think you made a little too many? I mean, this table is literally covered in your cookies.
Luka: What she said! Why did you have to go and turn this cafe into a cookie carnival?!
Rin: Whoa! When did you two get here?!
Len: Uhh... Before you came, Rin...
Rin: Y-You don't look so good? Are you okay...?
Len: I'm just...so full... We've already had around a hundred of these...
Rin: What?! A hundred?!
KAITO: The thing is, I had trouble picking just one design...
KAITO: Strawberries gave me red, mangoes gave me yellow, matcha gave me green... But they're all different flavors, so you have to be careful with your choice of colors.
KAITO: Which is why I tried making several different types of cookies...
Luka: No one said that you had to bake this many! I was happy at first, but now I'm completely tired of them!
Miku: I hate to break it to all of you...
Miku: But I just took some more out of the oven.
Luka & Len: What?!
MEIKO: By the way, the cookie dough you're making right now isn't going to fit in the fridge. You'll need to bake the ones that are already in there first...
Miku: Then, let's start baking those next...
Luka: T-Tomorrow! We can snack on them then!
Len: Yeah! I don't think my stomach can handle any more today!
KAITO: N-No, wait! Rin just got here, so hang in there!
KAITO: Don't forget that we're doing this for Toya...!
Miku: Uh oh...
Toya: For me...? What are you all talking about?
KAITO: What?! Toya?!
Toya: This is...a lot of cookies. Are you all having a party or something?
Miku: Uhh...
KAITO: So, the truth is...


Toya: I see. You were preparing an after-party for me when I finished writing all those songs.
KAITO: Yes, that's right...
KAITO: *Sigh* To think that you'd find out so soon...
Rin: It's okay, KAITO! I thought your idea was really good!
MEIKO: I agree. You seemed genuinely excited about doing something that would make Toya smile.
Luka: But he went completely overboard. He even got the floor all covered in flour.
Miku: He did clean it up in a hurry since he was afraid of being scolded by MEIKO. Unfortunately, she found out right as he was about to finish.
KAITO: Hey, wait! He doesn't need to know about any of that!
Luka: Haha. Sorry!
KAITO: It's just... I got so excited after hearing your song, Toya, that I felt that we needed to celebrate!
KAITO: You took in your teammates' thoughts, feelings, experiences, and even took a hard look at your own... Despite any painful memories that you had to relive, you still managed to complete your song.
KAITO: Which is why I wanted to give you a pat on the back and say, "Job well done!"
Toya: KAITO....
KAITO: But I forgot to make sure to keep it a surprise...
Toya: No, don't say that. I really appreciate what you were doing, KAITO.
Toya: Also, now that I know you want to throw me a party, I feel even more motivated to produce more good songs.
Toya: So, I promise to keep doing my best. And I'll very much be looking forward to this celebration.
MEIKO: Hehe... Hear that, KAITO?
KAITO: Yes! And I promise to throw you the best after-party ever!
