Suzuki Minori (鈴木 みのり) is a voice actress and singer from Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She is Shinonome Ena's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with Aoni Production, while her musical activities are signed under the FlyingDog label.
Background[]
Minori grew up in a household filled with music, as her mother loves music, and her father is a big anime fan.[1] Minori loved singing since she was a child and also was interested in voice-related work (singing, narration, acting e.g.). The first anime she fell in love with was Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, which she saw when she was 6 years old. Around fifth to sixth grade, Minori started watching late-night anime, which inspired her to become a seiyuu. Prior to this, she also wanted to become a manga artist for the Ciao magazine, which specifically publishes shoujo manga series, and a doll house crafter.[2]
During her second year of high school, she began taking lessons at a voice acting school in Tokyo once a week with the money she had earned from her part-time job a year prior.
At the end of 2014, she participated in a seiyuu audition for a role in Macross Δ. Her mother especially supported and pushed her to participate in the audition, as she was also a fan of Macross Frontier. She was chosen out of 8,000 applicants and was cast as the main heroine Freyja Wion, and became affiliated with e-stone music as well. She later won the Singing Award in the 15th Seiyuu Awards together with everyone else in Walküre, the idol group both Freya and Minori are part of.
On January 24, 2018, she made her solo singer debut with the single "FEELING AROUND". The title track was used as the opening theme for the "Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san" anime.
In December 2021, Minori made her debut as an actress in the "MOTHERLAND" play.
On September 30, 2023, Minori announced that she had left e-stone music. On October 1, 2023, she announced that she has joined Aoni Production.
