???: Hello there, Haruka. As energetic as ever I see.
Haruka: Oh, Ms. Enomoto, good morning. You must be busy as well this time of year being a Shrine Maiden and all.
Enomoto: I could say the same for you. It's incredible how you go out for a run every morning despite it being so cold out.
Haruka: Actually, I really enjoy exercising like this.
Haruka: But it's almost New Year's Eve. I'm sure you've been getting a lot of people lately.
Enomoto: Yes, we have. We run ourselves ragged every year around this time to keep this place going.
Haruka: I can tell... But it's been getting very cold at night, so please make sure to keep warm.
Enomoto: Thank you! As busy as it gets, I actually have a lot of fun seeing all these people stop by to pray and make their wishes.
Enomoto: They're all trying to make their futures as bright and prosperous as possible, so I'd like to help them achieve their goals in whatever way I can.
Haruka: Hehe. That's so noble of you.
Haruka: (I was the recipient of that support a while back too...)
Haruka: (I remember visiting this shrine right after I became the lead for ASRUN...)
Haruka: (If I recall correctly, that was also when Ms. Enomoto came to talk to me.)

Minori: Yeah, let's get started! I brought lots and lots of ideas with me!
KAITO: Miku and the others mentioned that you did a rehearsal together for last year's stream.
Miku: We sure did. We all practiced playing Karuta and Fukuwarai together!
Luka: Rin said that Shizuku's is really talented at Fukuwarai, so it'd be great to see you all play.
Shizuku: Oh, you would? Then, we might just have to play again.
MEIKO: I heard that your Karuta match turned into an exciting battle as well♪
Haruka: Yes, it was Minori and Miku versus Airi and Rin.
Minori: Yeah, I really didn't end up doing much that time... Airi and Miku pretty much got everything...
Len: Still, it sounds like you girls had a blast. What do you plan on doing this time?
Minori: About that! I think we should make our own mochi this year!
Rin: Make your own mochi?! That sounds amazing♪
KAITO: Hold on... Don't you need a mortar and mallet to make mochi? Where do we get those?
Airi: Right. Where, is a good question.
Airi: The garden at Shizuku's place would be perfect since it's pretty big, but we wouldn't want anybody figuring out where she lives so... I say we do something else.
Minori: B-But... Mochi!
Haruka: How about some calligraphy...? We can do that indoors just fine.
Shizuku: Yes, I see. All we would have to do is bring over our calligraphy sets.
Miku: I know! What if you give what you write to your fans as a little present?
Minori: That's a great idea! I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I won something like that...!
Airi: Hey, you have to make something too, you know?

Haruka: Haha... I never would've thought to give them out. Nice one, Miku. You really know what the fans want.

Shizuku: Yes, and the more experienced shrine maidens will be teaching us proper etiquette...
Veteran Shrine Maiden: Thank you for being so patient. We really appreciate you volunteering today in Enomoto's place.
Haruka: No, it's our pleasure. We feel like we owe her at least this, so thank you for having us.

Veteran Shrine Maiden: Hehe. I was told that you're all very polite, but ladylike may be more fitting. Anyway, shall we start discussing etiquette and what you'll be doing?

Airi: Minori, we don't “sell” anything. We “confer” them to others.
Minori: Oh, that's right! Because sharing a bit of the divine with everyone...!
Airi: Exactly. Charms and talismans, as well as divine blessings by extension, can be received at the reception building or “Juyosho”.
Shizuku: Hehe. It's so interesting how shrines have their own vocabulary.
Haruka: And we're supposed to treat money as “offerings”. It might take a while to get used to that.
Haruka: Also, do you all know what your assignments are...?
Minori: Yup! I'm helping with Omikuji!
Airi: I'll be at the reception with Minori, but helping with conferring charms and talismans instead.
Shizuku: I'll be helping with the sacred wine and amazake.
Haruka: Okay, sounds like we're all set. I'll be helping out as a guide for the visitors, so let me know if anything happens. That way, I'll be able to tell the shrine right away.
Haruka: Minori, Shizuku, your break starts at 4:00 am. Airi and I will take our break at 5:00 am. Also, it's already pretty cold out, so please make sure to stay warm. I wouldn't want us to come down with anything.
Minori: Right! Hehe... It's so nice having you as our leader, Haruka!
Haruka: What? I'm the leader?
Shizuku: Yes, you seem so on top of everything. The other shrine maiden even said that you'd be perfect as a guide and go-between for us. Doesn't that make you our leader by default?
Airi: She's right!

Haruka: Yes. I made my decision to become an idol in the third grade and started running every morning.
Haruka: And I came here to wish that I'd become an idol someday.
Airi: Whoa...! But you're Haruka Kiritani. Everyone sees you as someone who can do anything all on their own. Not someone who prays for a gift from up above...
Haruka: Hehe. I get told that pretty often.
Haruka: Of course, I knew that I had to put in the effort to actually become an idol.
Haruka: But who you meet or what you do can also turn into lucky opportunities, no...?
Haruka: I realized that I couldn't control any of that, so I started coming here to hope that things would tilt my way.

Haruka: I wouldn't go quite that far. I can think of plenty of times when I was worried about what would happen moving forward.
Haruka: For example, I couldn't sleep at night after becoming the lead for ASRUN because I became so anxious.
Shizuku: I had no idea...
Minori: R-Really...?! That's happened to you too, Haruka...?!
Haruka: Yes. I was worried about whether or not I could fill those shoes and felt all this pressure to perform well...
Haruka: Then, I decided to come back to this shrine.

Haruka: I agree. Also, it was great seeing so many people stop by to make their wishes.
Shizuku: Hehe. It sure was! Oh, why don't we cap everything off by making our own wishes?
Airi: Yeah, let's go! I'm sure all our hard work will be rewarded! Somebody up there must've been watching us!

Airi: There's no way a charm for streamers exists! We just gotta make our own luck when it comes to that!
