The Touhou Collaboration is a collaboration between Touhou Project and Project SEKAI, first announced on March 27, 2024, during Project SEKAI Broadcast Station's 3.5th Anniversary stream, adding six new songs, six avatar costumes, and a new card to the game.
Background[]
On the seventh Project SEKAI Broadcast Station stream, it was announced that a Touhou Collaboration would occur, adding three new songs. Each song would receive an APPEND chart, and that Bad Apple!! feat.SEKAI and Help me, ERINNNNNN!! would receive a 2DMV.
The following day, beatMARIO released a XFD Demo of the album Chou Saikyou! Saishuu Kichiku Imouto Flandre S (超最強！最終鬼畜妹フランドール・S, Super Strongest! Last Brutal Sister Flandre S) in which the song Chou Saishuu Kichiku Imouto Flandre S is included.
On Project SEKAI Broadcast Station's 4.5th Anniversary stream, it was announced that a second round of the collaboration will follow. Three more songs are to be added, with the addition of a paid collaboration gacha featuring a guaranteed 4★ Hatsune Miku card that will feature six co-starring characters from the series.
The following broadcast stream would announced that each song would also receive an APPEND chart, and that Cirno no Perfect Sansuu Gakuen and Touhou☆Wonderland would receive a 2DMV.
A 4★ Hatsune Miku collab card, which will only have a trained form similar to birthday cards, will give you six avatar costumes based on the co-starring characters that are mentioned above. The card will be only obtainable during the collab period.
Later that day, beatMARIO would release a XFD Demo of the album ALL Night of Knights Project (オールナイト・オブ・ナイツ プロジェクト), in which the song Chou Night of Knights is included.
Three days later, he released another XFD Demo of the album Touhou☆MikuReimu, in which the full-length VIRTUAL SINGER versions of the non-instrumental songs, including the English version of Help me, ERINNNNNN!!, was released.
