Toyoguchi Megumi (豊口 めぐみ) is a voice actress from Tokyo, Japan. She is Mafuyu's Mother's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with 81 Produce.
Background[]
Megumi became interested in both voice acting and anime when she watched Dragon Ball in elementary school. She especially became a fan of Yamcha's voice actor Furuya Tooru.[1]
Since middle school, Megumi wanted to become a voice actor, but attended high school as demanded by her mother. She wanted to enroll into Japan Narration Acting Institute (Nichihare), a voice actor training school, but upon her parents' disapproval, instead chose a sound arts department at a vocational school to become a radio host.
Her career as a seiyuu began when she auditioned for the role of Kaisei Girl for Nippon Cultural Broadcasting's radio show "Hiroi Ouji no Maruichi Tengoku," and ended up winning the Grand Prix prize. Afterwards, she joined her current agency 81 Produce.
On September 30, 2016, Megumi announced both her marriage and pregnancy, resulting in her taking a maternity leave. She returned to work in January 2017.

Megumi's hobbies include playing games, singing, taking walks and going to the theater. She especially enjoys watching musicals.
Aside from Dragon Ball, one of her favorite anime is Sailor Moon.

- Megumi loves dogs and used to own a Shih Tzu named Sachi.
- Megumi enjoys wearing Japanese clothes and often has worn kimonos and the like to events.
- She has an older brother.
- Megumi used to be nearsighted and disliked wearing glasses. She eventually got her eyesight fixed through a LASIK surgery.
