Ueda Reina (上田 麗奈) is a voice actress and singer from Toyama, Japan. She is Mochizuki Honami's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with 81 Produce, while her singing activities are signed under Lantis.
Background[]
From an early age, Reina had an interest in performing and joined her elementary school's theater club. In middle school, she became interested in becoming a voice actress after meeting a girl who had the same aspiration, and because she wanted to change herself and overcome her shyness. She decided to attend a voice actor audition in her third year of high school. In 2011, she won the semi-grand prix at the 5th 81 Produce auditions.
She debuted as a voice actress in 2012 by voicing a minor character in Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone, her first main role was Sekiya Naru in Hanayamata. She was one of the three people who were awarded the Best New Actress Award at the 9th Seiyuu Awards. She later received the Best Supporting Actress Award together with Kitou Akari at the 15th Seiyuu Awards.
On December 21, 2016, Reina debuted as a singer with the mini-album "RefRain".[1] She also co-wrote the lyrics for all of the songs in the album.
