Wakayama Shion (若山 詩音) is a voice actress from Chiba, Japan. She is Hagiyama Yu's voice actress. She is currently affiliated with Himawari Theatre Group.
Background[]
Shion was born in Chiba and currently lives in Tokyo. She was scouted by Himawari Theatre Group after attending an interview together with her older sister and then debuted as a child actress at the age of 3.
She debuted as a voice actress in 2006, providing the voice of Anna Girardot's younger version in the anime RED GARDEN. In middle school, she started pursuing her seiyuu career further after being influenced a game she liked.
Shion was one of the five people who were awarded the Best New Actor Award at the 17th Seiyuu Awards.
On August 12, 2022, her agency announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19.[1]
